Through processing, ordinary glass can acquire properties that either have significant safety implications or serve as the perfect completion of a particular application or design. Mirit Glas specializes in producing small and smaller technical glasses. Not large windows, but for example, glass used in products and production facilities.<\/p>\n<p>When we talk about technical glass, it is a broad term because useful properties can be added to glass in many ways. In fact, almost all the glass we make at Mirit Glas can be called technical glass.<\/p>\n<p>There are types of glass that can be called technical glass due to their inherent special properties, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/miritglas.com\/en\/products\/lead-glass\/\">lead glass<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/miritglas.com\/en\/products\/germanium-glass\/\">germanium glass<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/miritglas.com\/en\/products\/chemically-tempered-glass\/\">chemically hardened glass<\/a>, or <a href=\"https:\/\/miritglas.com\/en\/products\/sapphire-glass\/\">sapphire glass<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A glass that has a special shape or step grinding aimed at a particular purpose is also technical glass.<\/p>\n<p>In other cases, it may be a coating of the glass that gives it additional properties. It can be both blocking and highlighting.
